As these pups mature, we hope their "new people" will keep in touch, offer us updates, and send us pictures of them to see how our breeding selections with the sire & dam of the litter are producing. We are ALWAYS anxious to hear from our buyers, and we are also here to answer any questions or help with training, health care or other matters you may have interest in.

We are very proud of the breedings we've chosen to do, & the litters that we have produced. We believe the excellent references and comments we receive from owners of our von Hasental puppies over the years say it all.

From before Chaska's birth, Jan updated and educated us with detailed information, 'expert' advice and of course, photos of both Chaska and her "D" litter; and continues to do so seven months later as she has her heart & soul invested in her GSDs and their offspring. Chaska is an extremely intelligent, strong-willed and social dog who receives compliments on his beautiful rich black & red coloring, gait and posture. In training classes, he's the 'star' student with his high motivation for treats and the desire to please. Chaska receives and gives a lot of loving. Darthus has been a wonderful addition to our family. He likes to bring us our shoes, slippers, and dirty socks (and we don't even have to ask). He keeps the other dogs very entertained. I can't count the number of smiles he has put on our faces. He remains the sweet, loving puppy that you raised for us. He is calm, confident, attentive and just a bit mischievous.

Hello Jan,
Here is a picture of Darthus last weekend at the cabin. He is everything we had hoped for. He is such a loyal and devoted companion. He has to be everywhere that I am. I couldn't count the number of times he has opened the bathroom door because he doesn't understand why I would want to have privacy. He is so happy and intelligent. He weighs 93 lbs and it is all muscle. Everyone comments about how beautiful and noble he looks. And, that prance he has when he is retrieving a stick... I could go on and on. We love him very much. He has changed our lives.
